Jillian graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and completed a 11-month dietetic internship at Eastern Health in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Several years later she returned to university, graduating with a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology and completing an 8-month practicum at the London Health Sciences Centre Adult Eating Disorders Service. Jillian is experienced in delivering both individual nutrition counselling and group psychoeducation to children, adolescents and adults and has worked in various eating disorder programs at hospitals in British Columbia and Ontario. Jillian has worked in eating disorders since 2013 and is experienced in Family Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, the Maudsley Model and more.
